Engaging with the UK Parliament

Introduction
Come to find out about how to engage with the UK Parliament. The Institute of Physics are inviting Å·ÃÀAV ChemNet members to an evening with Chris Blanchett, the Parliamentary Outreach officer for the North West. He is going to talk about the basics of parliament (work and role) but then move onto a more in-depth discussion about effectively engaging with the process and procedures of the institution. This talk is suitable for a range of people wanting to understand and engage more with parliament and Chris is happy to try and answer questions on any level or subject. Light refreshments will be served before the talk which will begin at 18.30.
