Event Name: 2025 Global Women鈥檚 Breakfast Meeting
The theme of the event is 鈥淎ccelerating Equity in Science,鈥� the Women In Chemistry, Lagos Chapter of Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) aims to celebrate the event with a focus on 鈥淓quity Pedagogy: Chemistry in Focus鈥�.
The event is geared towards exposing, educating, and empowering the women/girls in chemistry science, chemistry education, and, by extension, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as well as in the industry.
The aims and objectives of the event are:
Creating awareness and establishing an approach to education in which teachers develop teaching strategies and cultivate classroom environments that better support all students.
Encourage and arouse interest of girls in taking up chemistry as a profession particularly as it applies to the industry.
Forum for women Chemists from various fields of practice to interact and get exposed to new developments, technologies and applications in the field of science.
Communique generated at the end of the programme will be forwarded to policy makers, regulatory organisations and the State Ministries, Departments & Agencies (MDAs) for necessary actions.
Social events will include:
Exhibition of products manufactured and books written by members of Lagos Chapter of CSN.
