Introduction
The Å·ÃÀAV Radiochemistry Group are pleased to present the second Radionuclide Production in the UK meeting, co-hosted with National Physical Laboratory (NPL). The meeting will explore the current status of radionuclide production and prospects for the future. Radionuclide production for nuclear medicine and other applications will be covered in this meeting.
There is an increasing awareness of the need to develop facilities and expertise to ensure the domestic supply of a range of radionuclides for medical and other applications. This meeting will provide an opportunity for stakeholders and researchers to meet and collaboratively discuss the current status of radionuclide production, what is needed in the future and how this can be achieved.
This one day, in-person meeting will consist of oral and poster presentations, exhibitor stands and open discussion sessions on radionuclide production, including through the use of cyclotrons, research reactors and recovery from legacy nuclear waste, as well as developments in radiochemical purification. There will also be updates on current and potential future projects related to radionuclide production, including the Medical Radionuclide Innovation Programme.Event details
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, UK.
We wil be accepting abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Abstracts should be submitted using the form on the NPL website. The deadline for abstract submission is 16 August 2024.
