Our annual Retired Members’ Lunch will be held at the Printworks Kitchen and Bar, Leeds City College, Hunslet Road, Leeds LS10 1JY. We arrive at around 1130 for lunch at 1200. There is no charge for the lunch, and drinks will be available for you to purchase at the bar. As an Å·ÃÀAV Member you are welcome to register for the event, by email if you can, and to register one non-member guest if you wish. Nearer the date you will then receive a menu from which we'd like you to select your meal(s).
Those of you who have previously attended our lunch at the Printworks will know that there is separate designated car parking for the restaurant, entered directly from the Hunslet Road dual carriageway. Fuller directions will be supplied! If you request a parking space when you book, the restaurant will do what it can to arrange an available space. All-electric buses from the Stourton park and ride site stop right by Leeds City College, and there are decent bus services from Vicar Lane, the Corn Exchange or the Bus Station – details can be supplied. From the railway station, walking is the best option, Bing maps say 14 minutes for 0.7 miles.
The deadline for booking is Thursday 30th May, but earlier booking would be helpful! When you book, please tell me whether you would like a car park space and include any other special needs such as dietary requirements.
