Solar Chemicals webinar - using sunlight to build molecules

28 November 2023 13:00-14:00

Introduction
Photovoltaic panels are a well known technology delivering low cost power around the world and form a major part of global efforts to tackle climate change. However, much less well known are the reactions and devices that could support a similar transformation of industrial chemical systems and fertiliser production.

In this webinar the theme leads of the UKRI-EPSRC funded Solar Chemicals Network will discuss the range of different approaches that are being investigated to use the energy available in sunlight to drive chemical reactions and convert abundant feedstocks to valuable chemicals.

There is no need to book for this webinar, you can view the broadcast on our Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube channels. The recording will also be available after the event.
