The 2012 meeting of the UK Society for Biomaterials will be held at the University of Nottingham on the 27th and 28th June. The deadline for abstracts has been extended to 30th March.
This year authors of small number of the highest quality contributions will be invited to submit full papers to a special issue of leading biomaterials journal.
The programme will comprise a mix of stimulating keynote speakers and submitted papers, with a strong emphasis on contributions from PhD students. In addition there will be presentations from the recipients of the President's Prize, the Biocompatibles Prize and, for the inaugural award of the Larry Hench Prize, recognising the achievements of an early career researcher in the Biomaterials field.
The conference is endorsed by the Å·ÃÀAV: The Biomaterials Chemistry Group.
