AGM at 1900 followed by a lecture
‘FLY ON THE WALL: THE ROLE OF FORENSIC ENTOMOLOGY IN CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS’
by Dr Martin Hall, Natural History Museum
Why not join us for the 2022 Å·ÃÀAV Kent Local Section AGM which is your chance to see what your committee have done for members in Kent throughout last year and also ask those tricky questions!
After the AGM at approximately 1930, there will be a cold buffet and drinks and then a talk from Dr Martin Hall, the UK’s leading expert in forensic entomology, which focuses on the study of the insect fauna on a dead body to help estimate a time of death, demonstrate post-mortem movement of the body and possibly indicate cause of death. The subject necessitates some unpleasant images, but these will not be gratuitous and only used to illustrate a point
There will be an opportunity after the lecture to network and catch-up over dessert and tea/coffee
Members and partners/guests are welcome
The cost for members and guests will be £5.00 pp. To attend, please return the form below no later than Wednesday 7th June 2023, electronically to Dave Alker at dave.alker@btinternet.com or by post to 19 Shakespeare Road, Birchington, CT7 9ET
