EHS professionals often have to manage or resolve conflicts. These may be between workers, management, trainees, building occupants, building representatives, etc. We will look at what works, what doesn't, and why more progressive techniques work best. Case examples will be discussed and attendee cases will be welcomed.
Conflicts are a natural part of human existence. They occur in every setting including the work world and other areas where EHS professionals practice. Unfortunately many EHS professionals do not have training in how best to manage and resolve conflicts that arise in the course of their work.
In this interactive and participative session, we will examine and discuss many aspects of successful negotiations and conflict management and resolution.
