Emerging from Chemistry in Britain in 2004, Chemistry World endeavours to provide chemists with a global perspective on chemistry news, research and opinions. Its monthly print issue and website publish a huge range of content of all kinds, relying on editorial, digital, design, production and commercial teams as well as numerous contributors and journalists. In this talk Adam will provide insight into what happens behind the scenes to source, create, edit and publish over 150 items of content a month and more generally how magazines and news outlets operate in print and online to serve their readership

Before taking on the editorship of Chemistry World, Adam worked in medical, educational and professional publishing for over 15 years in various capacities. He is particularly interested in publishing technologies and making the best of what digital has to offer the magazine reader. Throughout his varied career he has found that the most important thing is to tell great stories, with insight and integrity which he believes Chemistry World delivers
