Accessibility: The walk involves climbing over several stiles, some stone and some wooden and is not wheelchair accessible. Springfield Mill is wheelchair accessible and has blue badge parking spaces available.

Numbers: The number of participants will be limited to 15 adults on a first come first served basis .
Details: The walk will take about 2 hours and will cover the 3 mile long south –west loop of the 5 mile Denby Village Trail. It involves a gentle 300 foot climb on footpaths to Upper Denby, before returning to Denby Dale via the crossover point which is at Springfield Mill. The south–west section of the trail has several points of interest which include the railway viaduct, the last resting place of the 1887 Denby Dale pie which went bad and the Denby Delph Nature Reserve.
Getting to Denby Dale
Train: these run from Huddersfield every hour and the journey takes under half an hour.
