The Å·ÃÀAV Organic Division Ireland Regional Meeting 2021 will involve presentations by organic chemists from universities around Ireland, and will conclude with a presentation by 2019 Hickinbottom Award winner Dr Allan Watson from the University of St Andrews. Dr Watson received this award in recognition of his work on development of approaches to understand the mechanisms of catalytic reactions and to generate new approaches for making C–X bonds.
