#EnvChem2021: Chemistry of the Whole Environment Research (online)

25 June 2021 10:00-16:35, United Kingdom

Introduction
Following the hugely successful #EnvChem2020 event held online last July, we hereby announce our plans for #EnvChem2021, which will also be held online on Friday 25th June 2021.

#EnvChem2021 provides a forum for early career and established researchers working in environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology to share their latest research findings.

This meeting, organised by Å·ÃÀAV Environmental Chemistry Group and the UK branch of the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, will comprise a programme of presentations from delegates who submit abstracts in the following themes:
  • Environmental Processes in Soil, Water and Air
  • Emerging Contaminants
  • Novel techniques
  • Atmospheric Chemistry
  • ·¡³¦´Ç³Ù´Ç³æ¾±³¦´Ç±ô´Ç²µ²â

Creative Display Presentations
Creative Display Presentations will be made by presenting authors in parallel 15 minute zoom meetings hosted by a member of the conference organising committee. Delegates will be given the opportunity to visit parallel Creative Display Presentations in three time slots throughout the day. A very short (i.e. 1-2 minute) introduction to the Creative Display is encouraged to stimulate questions from delegates and discussion with the presenting author for the remainder of the 15 minute session.

When preparing your Creative Display Presentations, please feel free to be creative, bearing in mind the format of the presentation and that some delegates will access the conference via phones or tablets. As such, we recommend a minimum font size of 32 and a single display item (e.g. a single PowerPoint slide). Videos and animated content often do not display well over teleconferences. We strongly recommend that presenters test their Creative Display Presentations on the Zoom platform prior to the start of the conference.
