Continuous innovation in green and sustainable chemistry is tremendously important in our everyday lives and will be vital in helping the world respond to some of its biggest sustainability challenges. This symposium, co-organised by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Å·ÃÀAV, will bring together leading Chinese and UK researchers in sustainable chemistry in order to share expertise and best practice and discuss cutting edge research and applications. The venue is the University of York, a global centre of excellence for green and sustainable chemistry. During the course of the two days of the meeting established scientists and outstanding early career researchers will deliver a series of invited talks. In addition, there will be a poster session for young researchers and students to participate with prizes awarded for the best posters.
