Electrochemistry Northwest 2019

4 July 2019 09:30-16:00, Manchester, United Kingdom

Introduction
The Å·ÃÀAV Electrochemistry Northwest meeting is being rebooted this year, proudly hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University and the Banks Research Group. The event will take place on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 and will bring together researchers from all levels of experience, ranging from PhD researchers through to early careers to discuss fundamental and applied electrochemsitry with a focus on advanced materials. The event will also host more established academics such as Professor Paul Shearing from University College London, who will be opening the meeting with a plenary session on his research in the field of energy conversion and storage.

The event will feature a number of presentations from early career researchers in the morning session, and PhD researchers in the afternoon session, as well as poster sessions throughout the lunch and coffee breaks. Finally, the event will aim to close in the late afternoon so networking can continue in the Lass O'Gowrie, Manchester, an historic ale house just off Oxford Road.

If you are interested in presenting your work at this event, please contact Dr Edward Randviir on E.Randviir@mmu.ac.uk with a title for your work and whether you would like to present as poster or oral presentation.
