As part of the celebration of the centenary of IUPAC in 2019, we invite you to join in a Global Women鈥檚 Breakfast. The event is titled 鈥淓mpowering Women in Chemistry: A Global Networking Event鈥�. 鈥婽he global women鈥檚 breakfast event will be launched in New Zealand on the morning of February 12, 2019, and progress through the Asia-Pacific region into Europe, Africa and finally onto the American region.
The Global Women鈥檚 Breakfast aims to assist women chemists to expand their network of contacts, both locally and internationally. Women at different stages of their individual careers can inform each other about their career progress, and together explore opportunities, in professional development and in research or teaching horizons.鈥� 鈥婽he Liverpool Global Women's Breakfast will be hosted in the Materials Innovation Factory with a networking breakfast, followed by a talk by Dr Anna Slater from the University of Liverpool.
鈥婻egistration for this event can be carried out until up to the day of the event, however the catering numbers have now been confirmed so we may not be able to cater for special dietary requirements for people that register from 7th February onwards. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
