Members are invited to attend the 39th Annual General Meeting of the Å·ÃÀAV Newcastle upon Tyne and North East Coast Local Section at Northumbria University, Newcastle.
Following the AGM there will be a lecture by Dr Emma-Jane Walker from Diageo entitled "Great Chemistry makes Scotch Whisky Great".
And following that there will be an opportunity to try some whisky and network with colleagues and the local section committee.
Members are invited to bring along family and friends who may be interested in the lecture, however only current members of the Å·ÃÀAV may vote in committee elections. The whisky tasting is subject to availability and is limited to those over the age of 18. The organisers reserve the right to refuse to serve any person who cannot prove their age.
Entry to the AGM does not require booking, however space at the lecture and tasting is strictly by ticket using the link provided.
