The North East Region Analytical Division (NERAD) are pleased to invite Chemists from the whole region to join us for our 51stAGM followed by a buffet and special ‘Cocktail Chemistry’ event.
Noel Jackson, the Head of Education at Newcastle’s ‘Centre for Life’ will be giving his famous guided practical lesson on the chemistry of cocktails with worked examples to savour.
NERAD are bringing our AGM to Hull, recently the City of Culture and with a significant and successful Chemistry Industry. We will be hosting our AGM at the Guildhall: a stunning venue with great food a beautiful architecture. All Å·ÃÀAV members, their families and friends are welcome to come along for this wonderful event and networking opportunity.

5:15pm NERAD AGM (Voting for Å·ÃÀAV Members only)
6:15pm Buffet Dinner
7pm – 9pm ‘Cocktail Chemistry’
Although the AGM is free to attend, the rest of the evening is limited to 50 places and is strictly for persons aged 18 or over.
Tickets are £10 and available online using the link provided.
Venue: Guildhall, 77 Lowgate, Hull, HU1 2AA
Travel and accommodation: Hull is easily accessible by train from the whole region, and the Guildhall is only a 15-minute walk from Hull Paragon Interchange. There are also numerous good but inexpensive hotels in and around the city for those wanting to make this more of a city break – this is a wonderful opportunity to visit Hull and many of the City of Culture attractions.
