The (Chemistry and Biology of Natural Products Symposium XI) CBNP11 is a two-day symposium for postgraduate students, PDRAs and young academics but also open to any academic/industrialist working in any areas of natural product chemistry and biology, from microbial genetics to synthetic chemistry.
The format of the meeting will be based on those of the previous meetings where Ph.D. students and PDRAs presented their work. We hope to replicate the atmosphere in which new or incomplete projects can be presented for discussion to a diverse audience. A copy of the 2016 programme, which attracted around 120 participants, is attached to illustrate the broad scope of the meeting covering varying subjects from synthetic chemistry to microbial genetics! This year we aim to include approximately 14 lectures from PhD students as well as 10 lectures from PDRAs and young academics, and to have a supporting poster session. We believe this meeting will once again be an excellent opportunity for early career scientists to present their work to an audience of experts.
