Chemistry's Role in Resource Recovery for Sustainable Wastewater Management

16 December 2015 19:00-22:00, Cranfield, United Kingdom

Introduction
Resource recovery from wastes is on the research and political agendas in many EU countries including the UK. The pivotal role of chemistry to enhance the recovery of renewable energy (as biogas) and of sustainable nitrogen and phosphorus fertiliser nutrients from wastewater is being revealed. This is accelerating the development of new technologies and circular economies.

Delegates will be updated on leading edge technological developments applying chemical processes to resource recovery in wastewater systems.

Delegates can engage and network with others interested in the opportunities presented by resource recovery.
