This call for proposals on behalf of the Home Office's Office of Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT) and the Government Decontamination Service (GDS), will open on Monday 21 September, 2015. A Briefing document and Invitation to Tender will be published on the call launch date.
Up to £300k will be spent on Phase 1 proof-of-concept projects, each with a value of £0 to 50k.
Where contamination poses a risk to human life and the wider environment, GDS's priority is to support local authorities to decontaminate any surfaces as effectively as possible and ensure any contaminated areas are reinstated and normality regained as soon as possible.
