Made in Britain?

25 March 2015, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
Robots, 3D printers, the Maker movement, and the impacts of globalisation are revolutionising UK manufacturing.

Where will the factories of the future be and what will they make? How can the UK adapt to the challenges, create jobs and provide the next generation with appropriate skills?

Join us and our expert panel as we discuss how we can capitalise on our proud history to build a manufacturing powerhouse fit for the 21st Century.

Speakers include:

Peter Marsh (Chair), author of 'The New Industrial Revolution: Consumers, Globalization and the End of Mass Production' and former Manufacturing Editor of the Financial Times.

Will Butler-Adams OBE FRGS, Managing Director, Brompton Bicycle Ltd. Champion of the 'Make It In Great Britain' campaign and trustee of Inspiring the Future.

Jake Dyson, British designer and son of Sir James Dyson. Founder and Director of Jake Dyson Products and inventor of Ariel, the first last-a-lifetime LED.
