Herbal products after April 2011

20 January 2011, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
Implementation of the Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive after April 2011 brings an important change in the law. An essential step in keeping your herbal product legally on the market is to clarify if it is a medicine or not. With the deadline fast approaching it is vital that the implications are fully appreciated by all companies involved in the product supply chain as well as by practitioners supplying patients.

Key objectives of the seminar include:
•Provide participants with an understanding of the issues surrounding the area of borderline medicines
•Offer an opportunity for discussion of both hypothetical scenarios and also your own products and issues in interactive sessions
•Clarify for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and herbal practitioners and the implications of the end of the transitional period
