6th form Chemistry afternoon

Introduction
BRLSI and the Å·ÃÀAV are proud to host a 6th Form Chemistry afternoon on Wednesday 12th March in association with University of Bath & University of Bristol. You will hear talks on Plastics – friend or foe; Atoms at Play – the Nano-World and Diagnosing wound infection with a 'smart' wound dressing from academic staff. Postgraduate students from Bath will talk about 'finding new materials for tissue engineering applications' and you can also hear about careers in chemistry and study help with Å·ÃÀAV ChemNet from the SW Education Coordinator. You will have an opportunity to pose questions about the talks or about taking your own studies further at the end of the afternoon.  This a free event but you do have to register.
