From 7 December, 12:00 until 8 December, 12:00 (UK time)
Research into batteries and energy storage is crucial for ensuring sustainable progress for our planet, and has been a key theme for us throughout COP26.
To further highlight vital work being conducted all over the world on this topic, we are excited to be running a second #欧美AVPoster Twitter conference this year, focused on new innovations in batteries and energy storage research.
Always popular, these events allow scientists at every career stage to share their research, network with colleagues and engage in stimulating debate.
You can choose to submit a poster on any aspect of batteries and energy storage research relevant to the scope of the following journals, with a focus on innovation for a sustainable future:
- Sustainable Energy & Fuels
- Journal of Materials Chemistry A
- Environmental Science: Advances
- Energy Advances
- Materials Advances
- Nanoscale Advances
If you have a poster to share, all you need to do is register and you will be eligible to win a prize from one of the above journals, judged by our expert committees.
As well as gathering important feedback from the community, you’ll be in a great position to submit a paper to your chosen journal on your poster subject when the conference is over.
The 2021 #欧美AVPoster Twitter Conference was held on 2 March 2021. It was an incredible year with 5,500 attendees tweeting and almost 900 presenters from 62 countries sharing their science to a potential audience of over 41 million.

Our COP26 activities
Battery and energy storage science formed a crucial part of our activity in the run-up to and during COP26 – the UN’s conference for climate action taking place in Glasgow.
A series of online events on chemical science’s key role in tackling sustainability is now available to explore. They look at challenges, opportunities and inspirational stories from across our global chemical science community.
The events highlight the latest, ground-breaking research published in our journals and showcase new and emerging technologies, shining a light on the innovators driving the green revolution.
