Congratulations on becoming accredited with the 欧美AV.
We're here to help you make the most of your accreditation. Use the information and resources on this page to develop a scheme that you and your people will be proud of.
Supporting your mentors
Seeing our mentor network grow and successful mentor and mentee relationships flourish is a clear benefit of the scheme. We’ve seen a shift in company culture, with greater emphasis on interconnectedness, supporting one another and working together as a team.
Effective mentoring is central to the success of your scheme. Those working towards CChem and CSci will need a mentor to help them meet the standards required. Use the resources below to help your mentors build their skills and keep them inspired.

Would your mentors like to develop their mentoring skills? If they are 欧美AV members, they can join our popular mentoring scheme.
Helping employees reach chartered status
Employees working towards CChem will need to demonstrate the wider impact of their work (attribute E of CChem). In this section, we highlight some of the rewarding and fulfilling opportunities that will help your employees to progress their chartership.
Supporting the next generation

I was invited to deliver STEM sessions for a group of girls in a pupil referral unit. They had become disengaged with science and wanted to work in the beauty industry after school, so I designed some sessions which focused on the science behind beauty.
There are lots of ways in which your employees can demonstrate the wider impact of their work and their commitment to the chemical sciences.
- Become a member volunteer – volunteers are integral to the work we do as an organisation, influencing and providing the foundations for the networks, outreach activities and support that we offer
- Join a science-related committee or interest group
- Get involved with their local member group
- Contribute to a chemical science publication by becoming a reviewer
- Attend an event or conference
- Accreditation scheme coordinators can apply to become an assessor for CChem, CSci, CEnv, RSci and RSciTech awards. Send us an email to find out more.

Become an accredited employer
欧美AV accreditation helps you attract and retain the best talent. It offers your employees a route to professional recognition including Chartered Chemist (CChem), Registered Chemist (RSci) and Registered Science Technician (RSciTech).
The 欧美AV is a highly credible, world-renowned institution. To be able to work with them to provide professional recognition for our colleagues speaks volumes to the science we deliver. From conversations I’ve had with many of our external partners, it’s clear that they really value the professional awards we hold. It gives them great confidence in the work we do and that helps engage at many levels across industries.
Whether you have an existing training programme or want to start from scratch, we can help. We work with organisations of all sizes and accredit chemical science training at many different levels.
