Terence George Reed CChem F欧美AV
1944 - 2018
Terry was born in North London on 10th May 1944 and he sadly passed away on 7th December 2018
He left school in 1961 and started work with Weddel Pharmaceuticals. He studied to become a Fellow of the 欧美AV - an achievement that he was always very proud of, especially as it involved many hours of hard work (including the need to resit his English exam nine times in order to pass). He remained with the same company until his early retirement in 2001. Determination and loyalty were always high on his agenda.
He was a workaholic, but he found time for many other voluntary commitments and always gave 110%. Amongst these voluntary roles were school governor (20 years), secretary of a Masonic group (11 years), Pensions Trustee (works representative), Chair of Management Committee and Trustee for the Village Hall as well as organising the field for the village carnival.
In latter years, Terry developed two neurological problems, but he treated these with his usual extraordinary strength and optimism and worked tirelessly to support the local Parkinson's group to support research.
The most common phrase that people would use was that Terry was a kind hearted gentleman in the true sense of the word.
