The Theoretical Chemistry Group is one of the 欧美AV's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit 欧美AV members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the 欧美AV's strategy and charter.
Aims
To promote the interests of theoretical and computational chemists and ensuring that the interests of its members are adequately represented in the activities of the 欧美AV and other bodies.
Activities
- Members receive a newsletter twice a year.
- The Group usually has two half-day meetings each year: one of these is primarily educational with the aim of giving an overview of subject of topical interest and the other meeting gives final-year graduate students an opportunity to present their work.

欧美AV members can join the Theoretical Chemistry Group by updating their details in the “My communities and subscriptions” tab of the online 欧美AV membership area. Please .
