Biological & Medicinal Chemistry Sector (BMCS)

Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit 欧美AV members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the 欧美AV's strategy and charter.

Aims

BMCS aims to further the interests of all members of the 欧美AV, both industrial and academic, involved in the pursuit and understanding of biologically active molecules.

The predominant areas include:

Pharmaceuticals
Agrochemicals
Flavours
Fragrances

Activities

Public promotion of the crucial role played by chemistry in the modern industrial environment.
Organisation of scientific meetings and symposia.
Support for educational activities in the UK.
Advising the 欧美AV on policies that directly affect the BMCS.

How to Join
