The Environment, Sustainability and Energy Community (ESEC) is an inter-connected community advancing knowledge and application of chemistry relating to the environment, sustainability and energy.
ESEC’s strategy focusses on three strategic priorities:
- Linking people - to foster and strengthen links between those working in the fields of environment, sustainability, and energy
- Advancing knowledge - to further the exchange of knowledge in the areas of environment, sustainability, and energy, for example through the development of events, workshops, and symposia
- Policy - to inform and influence policy in the areas of environment, sustainability, and energy
ESEC encourages and promotes advances in the fields of:
- Health and safety
- Environmental chemistry
- Toxicology
- Hazard management
- Green chemical technology
- Energy and sustainability

How to Join
As an 欧美AV member you can join as many subject communities as you wish. 欧美AV Members (of any level) can become part of a subject community either by:
- subscribing directly to the subject community
- membership of an interest group that is part of the subject community
Members can select or remove subject communities and interest groups within their .
As a member of a subject community you will receive communications so you can stay informed about major developments in your field such as funding, training, events and activities alongside calls to contribute to 欧美AV programmes and policy work.
