The course will examine the different components of FTIR such as IR sources, detectors, beam splitter and Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) and guide the delegate with sample-specific factors affecting spectral quality and mixtures.
There are worked-through examples including the analysis of pharmaceutical and food samples by FTIR and analysis of the data.
