Rideal 2023

3 May 2023 13:00 - 5 May 2023 13:00, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
The Rideal Conference 2023 will be held at University College London, London, UK, from Wednesday 3rd – Friday 5th May 2023 with the theme of “Catalysis for a Sustainable Future”.

The conference brings together chemists, chemical engineers and physicists interested in the fundamentals and application of catalysis, and heterogeneous catalysis in particular.

Speakers include:

  • Michael Claeys (University of Cape Town, South Africa)
  • Chris Hardacre (University of Manchester, UK)
  • Amol Kulkarni (CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India)
  • Nora de Leeuw (University of Leeds, Leeds, UK)
  • Can Li (Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS, China)
  • Raj Natarajan (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India)
  • Misbah Sarwar (Johnson Matthey Technology Centre, UK)
  • Susannah Scott (University of California Santa Barbara, USA)
One of the aims of the meeting is to allow young researchers and students a unique platform to get first-hand information from world-renowned scientists on topics of prime importance in catalysis. There are also many opportunities for young researchers and students to get involved and have a chance to have their work featured in the poster session.

“A Rideal Conference is a wonderful opportunity to discuss the really exciting areas of catalysis. Each meeting has its own unique features but for me, the key aspect is the emphasis that is put on the discussion of new catalysis and new techniques.” ~ Prof. Graham Hutchings
