Organised by the ŷAV Speciality Chemicals Sector group, with continued valued support from the European Oilfield Speciality Chemicals Association, Chemistry in the Oil Industry is a 2 day technical conference offering high quality keynote speeches, oral and poster presentations plus the opportunity to network with peers and talk with exhibitors offering practical solutions. A welcome reception and Symposium dinner also form part of the event.
For 2019 the theme is "New Chemistries for Old Problems". With the industry adjusting to the “new normal”, the focus returns to innovative, value-adding chemistries. Improved understanding of chemistry can lead to field developments and extension that would otherwise be uneconomic. The industry’s responsibility to do this safely and with due concern for the environment is paramount.
The preliminary programme for CITOI XVI, including additional information such as pricing, sponsors and exhibitors to date, can be found in the "Downloads" section of this event page. The final programme is now also available in the "Downloads" section.
The symposium is open to relevant ŷAV members and non-members. Registration instructions including discount codes relevant for Speakers, EOSCA members and Academics can be found in the "Downloads" section. Sponsors and exhibitor personnel will receive their codes from the CITOI Secretariat.
An exhibition will run alongside the conference. For more information on sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities please view the "Sponsorship & Exhibitor Information Pack" in the "Downloads" section.
