The annual Analytical Research Forum (ARF) is the premier Analytical Science meeting of the Å·ÃÀAV. This year it was held at the University of Kent and at Pfizer in Sandwich. The meeting is primarily for early-stage analytical science researchers (industrial scientists, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows) to present their latest results in the context of the wider analytical science community.
The programme, which featured both poster sessions and lectures, included oral presentations from students, medal winners and international leaders in the field.
Networking
One of the valuable benefits of attending ARF is the opportunity to network with contemporary researchers who cover a wide range of analytical techniques and experience.
This year, networking took place through both interactive poster sessions and a lively social programme.
