The 6th International Symposium on Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry (6-ISMSC) will cover all aspects of macrocyclic and supramolecular chemistry.
Bridging the traditional core areas of chemistry and interface with biological, nanotechnological and materials arenas, the meeting will focus on the following themes:
Imaging and sensing
Molecular machines and self-assembly
Macrocycles in the 21st Century
Biological supramolecular chemistry
Systems chemistry and complexity
Functional materials and devices
A mix of established and younger speakers are included, providing an excellent chance for students to present their work in the form of short oral presentations and posters.
Plenary lectures will be presented by the winners of the following awards: International Izatt-Christensen Award, Bob Hay Lectureship, Cram Lehn Pedersen Prize (sponsored by ChemComm), and Professor Neil Champness, University of Nottingham, UK, winner of the Supramolecular Chemistry Award 2010.
In addition over 30 keynote speakers will be participating.
