#欧美AVAwards
It’s important to inspire people with chemistry because chemistry is life and is all around us.
Professor David Evans’ research has involved developing a deeper understanding of the role of metals in important biological systems and synthesising new molecules that can mimic the efficient systems of nature. Another aspect has been the development of the use of plant viruses and virus-like particles for the synthesis of novel nanomaterials and their applications in, for example, targeted drug delivery.
His research interests include bioinorganic chemistry, iron and nickel coordination chemistry, Mössbauer spectroscopy and bionanoscience.
